my husband and I own a house in upstate NY. my name is on the deed. but I have not signed the loan. If we get a divorce would I be eligible to receive the first time home buyers 8000$ stimulus package deal?

    No you already own a home. Your name is on the deed means you are an owner. The 8k is for first time home owner

    Not even close. You are an owner of a home right at this moment. You may not have owned a primary residence within the past three years in order to qualify for the tax credit.
