Kathleen

The new $8000 tax credit is huge. That is a credit and not a deduction. As long as you haven't purchased a home within the last 3 years, then you are eligible for the credit.

Good luck with the purchase!

Pedro

Not only are prices down but so are interest rates. In addition there is the new tax credit of up to $8000.00 which does not have to be repaid.
Is that what you are looking for?
